AI 4 Humanities: ruGPT-3 is a track developed specially for those familiar with artificial neural networks. It will help to learn about a promising ruGPT-3 technology able to generate very complex meaningful texts based on just one request made in natural human language. For example, it can help you answer most questions included in basic or unified national exams (OGE or EGE), write Java code at the request «Please make a website for online shop», come up with a business idea for a new startup, or write new popular science articles.
This track will be conducted as a contest of solution prototypes:
As part of the overall ranking, the participants are invited to present their prototypes for solving any business or social task on the basis of the pre-taught ruGPT-3 model.
Participants of the special nomination AIJ Junior are invited to propose a ruGPT-3 solution to generate a meaningful essay on the specific topic/text in one of the four humanitarian subjects (the Russian language, history, literature, social science) at the 11th form level (EGE).
A solution for overall ranking shall include all of the following:
The overall ranking will be organized in two stages:
1) selection — to select top-5 participants
2) Final — to select a winner among those presenting their solutions
When reviewing the proposed solutions, the focus will be made on the compliance with criteria allowing to have the best prototype for solving a specific task or case.
The final score will be calculated as the average score of the three criteria. Participants earning the highest total score will be declared top-5 overall ranking finalists.
The contest jury will select an overall ranking winner upon the results of the more detailed online project defense on November 18 with the same criteria as above.
Participants of the AIJ Junior special nomination will be assessed by the contest jury by criteria used to assess writing parts of EGE exams in humanitarian subjects (the Russian language, history, literature, social science):

To participate, you must register by filling out a form, and then develop and upload your solution in accordance with the rules.

When will the winners be announced?

A winner of the overall ranking will be selected by the contest jury upon the results of the project defense on November 30.
Who can participate in AI Journey?
Legally capable individuals of 18+ who have expressed consent to the Rules and completed the contest task can participate in the contest.
The Contest is open to individuals under 18 years of age who have expressed consent to the Contest Rules and completed one or more Contest Tasks in accordance with the requirements of the Rules, with the right to qualify for a cash prize only in the AIJ Junior special nomination.
Can residents of other cities or countries participate?
Yes, residents of all cities and countries of the world are invited to participate in the Contest without any restrictions.
Is the contest for individuals only or are teams allowed too?
Only individuals can participate in the track. Every participant must register.
Can participants choose a final solution?
The latest solution uploaded by a participant will be considered their final solution.
How will solutions be assessed?
The final solution score will be a score given by the contest jury. The contest jury consists of the organizer’s representatives and guest experts.
Participants earning the highest total score will be declared track winners.
Will there be an awards ceremony for winners?
Yes. The awards ceremony will be held as part of the AI Journey conference.
Are there any restrictions on participation in AI Journey?
Persons directly or indirectly involved in the preparation of tasks or data, as well as in the organization of this Contest are not allowed to participate in the Contest.
Participants to whom this restriction applies and who have consented to the Rules may send in their solutions, but they may not qualify for a cash prize.
